"It's an idyllic setting for what is named Riverside Farms"

The 130-acre farm came into possession in March of 1817, when it was purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Chittenden. The south edge of the farm is bordered by the River Raisin and nestled on the corner of Petersburg Rd and McCarty Rd, Riverside Farm was officially named by the Chittenden Family. The family built their house and three farm buildings that still stand there today.
